Wales largest airport is building on its positive growth, today announcing over 15 minutes of growth and higher passenger numbers. Now, over 1.51 million passengers are making the switch to the terminal.
May 2018 was by far the busiest month at Cardiff Airport since 2009, with overall figures up 9% from past years.
Since the Welsh Assembly took ownership of the aiport, major changes have been enacted – including new airlines, more routes and huge improvements to the terminal infastructure.
A total of 18 seperate airlines now fly from Cardiff, up on previous years with a range of exciting destinations to choose from.

A brand new departure lounge has also been unveiled, helping the airport in its bid to offer a truly modern experience. A new Costa Coffee outlet, WH Smiths and business lounge have all been included in the re-vamp.
In the next few months, Cardiff Airport are also announcing their plans for future growth – including an overall plan taking the aiport upto 2040.
